How to measure your ring size

A good fit is snug enough to stay put, loose enough to slide over your knuckle. Print our ring sizer on A4 paper at 100% scale (no "fit to page") and check the 5cm line with a ruler, then choose a method below.

Method 1

Use a ring you already own

Easiest if you have a ring that fits the finger you're shopping for.

Place your ring over the printed circles, starting with the smallest.
Stop when the circle's outline sits just inside the ring's inner edge.
That circle is your size.

Method 2

Use the ring sizer strip

No ring to measure? The paper strip works just as well.

Cut out the strip along the dashed line, then cut the slit.
Wrap it around the base of your finger, printed side out.
Feed the narrow end through the slit until it feels snug.
Read the size where the strip meets the slit.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size.

Best time to measure: at the end of the day, when fingers are warm. Cold fingers read smaller.

Wide band? Bands 6mm and wider fit tighter, so consider going up half a size.

Mondaine

Mondaine is a Swiss-designed brand devoted to timeless original design, useful innovation and high Swiss craftsmanship. Its story began in 1944, when a Swiss engineer and designer created a clock for display at every Swiss railway station, which became known as the "Official Swiss Railway Clock". In 1986, Mondaine officially launched it as a wristwatch, and the SBB Collection has grown from strength to strength ever since. Its simple face, distinctive hands and famous red seconds hand have made Mondaine timepieces recognised the world over.

Mondaine's ingenuity lies in combining simplicity with intelligent function, distinguishing it as a true design classic. Cases are crafted in stainless steel or renewable raw material, with clocks made from aluminium, in watch sizes from 26mm to 43mm and clock sizes from 12.5cm to 40cm. Straps and bands include leather, vegan grape leather, textile with cork lining, stainless steel bracelet or mesh, and renewable rubber, giving a look and feel to suit every style.

Mondaine watches are manufactured in Switzerland, while Mondaine clocks are manufactured in China. Watches are powered by Swiss quartz or automatic movements, while clocks use German or Far East quartz movements. Glass is hardened mineral crystal, with sapphire crystal on selected models, and water resistance ranges from 3 ATM to 5 ATM.
