Each piece is finished with a 2.5 micron layer of gold vermeil, well beyond the industry's minimum threshold for a true vermeil finish. For comparison, standard fashion jewellery plating is typically only 0.5 to 1.0 microns thick, so DGA's vermeil offers noticeably greater gold thickness for enhanced durability, wear resistance and lasting shine. Selected pieces feature precision-set lab-grown diamonds for lasting brilliance and structural integrity.

Gold vermeil is created by electroplating a thick layer of gold onto solid sterling silver, unlike gold plated jewellery, which uses only a very light layer of gold over a base metal such as brass or copper. To legally be called gold vermeil, a piece must carry a gold layer of at least 2.5 microns; DGA's vermeil meets this standard exactly, making it around five times thicker than typical gold plated jewellery. This thicker layer means our vermeil is more durable, more wear resistant and less prone to tarnishing than standard plated pieces, provided it's given proper care.
